This would be a great restaurant in a metro area ... The fact that it is in a town of 18000 makes it even more special. We ate there three times last year and are anxious to return (we are seasonal). Took mpls friends there who are used to fine dining. They said this was as good as anything in the twin cities.

Artwork in the dining room is painted by artist extraordinaire, Troy Doyle.
Troy is an Albert Lea resident who paints out of his home studio. A friend of mine, Troy designed my logo, helped with the color scheme of the business, and graces the dining area of CRESCENDO as his public gallery. Check out some of his other fabulous work at the link below:

The woodwork in the dining room, including the 300 bottle wine storage cabinet, was built by Albert Lea resident Jim Finseth. Jim owns Solid Wood Products in New Richland, Minnesota, and is a very good friend of mine. He builds kitchen cabinetry like no other, and is a heck of a nice guy.
