When you dine with us, you’ll see the difference that fine dining offers. We have the most exquisite food, and fine wines, all offered within our elegant atmosphere. While spending time in our restaurant, you’ll be met with the perfect venue to take your loved one out on that special night, or even host a group, party, or

small get together.

Our restaurant is located in Historic Downtown Albert Lea, a great travel area.

When dining with us, you’ll see people from all over Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota, but you’ll always get the custom approach and single service that you deserve and expect.

Appetizers

Crab Cakes with Mango  & Ginger Coulis

Two handmade cakes of delicate blue crab meat, red bell

peppers and red onions are sautéed in butter and topped

with a homemade and refreshing drizzle  of fresh mango,

ginger and lime juice.   $10

 

Sweet Corn Fritters

Two cakes of sweet corn, red bell peppers and scallions are pan

fried and accompanied with Crème Fraiche and Sriracha hot chili sauce.    $8  

 

Sautéed Asparagus with sundried

Tomatoes, Capers and Balsamico

Tender spears of fresh asparagus are blanched until just crisp-tender,

drizzled with a balsamic vinaigrette, then sprinkled with sundried

tomatoes, pine nuts, capers, lemon zest and a dusting of feta cheese.  $9

 

Watermelon and Feta Salad with Mint Vinaigrette

Fresh Watermelon, Feta Cheese and ribbons of fresh Mint are

tossed with baby greens and lightly dressed with a  white wine

vinaigrette.   $9

 

Entrees 

Grilled Garlic-studded Portabella Mushroom on Basil Pesto Rice

This vegetarian entrée starts with a gorgeous portabella mushroom cap,

studded with garlic and fresh herbs, grilled to release and blend its flavors.  

It is presented atop a bed of basil pesto rice pilaf, and enhanced with toasted

pine nuts, grape tomatoes, grilled asparagus and parmesan cheese.  $18  (Gluten Free)                                      

 

Macadamia nut-crusted Mahi Mahi with Fresh Pineapple Salsa

A boneless fillet of wild Mahi Mahi is dredged in ground macadamia nuts,

then pan seared and oven finished, topped with a homemade salsa of

fresh pineapple and red bell peppers, and accompanied with our

parmesan mashed potatoes. $21   (Gluten Free)                              

 

Sauté of Canadian Lobster & Sweet Corn with Ginger Vinaigrette

A fabulous blending of summertime  flavors and textures featuring  locally grown sweet corn, Canadian Atlantic Lobster, and parmesan mashed potatoes, finished with a drizzle of vanilla bean-infused oil and a homemade ginger vinaigrette.  (Gluten-free)     $24

 

Summer Pasta

Penne Rigate pasta is cooked al dente, dressed with a white wine and cream sauce, and tossed with grilled chicken, rendered pancetta ham, and sautéed Summer vegetables— corn, roasted red bell peppers, crimini mushrooms, peas— then dusted with

grated parmesan cheese.    $19      

 

Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Molasses BBQ Sauce and Corn Pudding

Locally raised pork tenderloin, spice-rubbed and then grilled to Medium, drizzled with a molasses barbeque sauce, and accompanied with a ramekin of sweet corn pudding, and grilled fresh Pineapple.   $22

                                                                 

Crescendo Filet Mignon with Brandy and Shallot Reduction

Our signature Prime, aged, six ounce Beef Tenderloin Filet, seared in butter and oven finished to order (we recommend Medium rare).  Adorned with our sweet yet complex, made on the spot, flamed brandy and shallot Dijon reduction sauce.  Accompanied with sautéed asparagus and our parmesan mashed potatoes.  $32   (Gluten free)
