When you dine with us, you’ll see the difference that fine dining offers. We have the most exquisite food, and fine wines, all offered within our elegant atmosphere. While spending time in our restaurant, you’ll be met with the perfect venue to take your loved one out on that special night, or even host a group, party, or

small get together.

Our restaurant is located in Historic Downtown Albert Lea, a great travel area.

When dining with us, you’ll see people from all over Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota, but you’ll always get the custom approach and single service that you deserve and expect.

Appetizers

Crab Cakes with Roasted Garlic and Lemon Aioli

Two handmade cakes of delicate blue crab meat, red bell peppers and

red onions are sautéed in butter and topped with a homemade roasted garlic

and fresh lemon aioli.   $10

 

Sweet Potato Ravioli

Five handmade ravioli are filled with a homemade puree of sweet potatoes

and are then briefly sautéed in brown butter and accompanied with

toasted pine nuts and fresh sage.   $10 (appetizer portion)

Italian Vegetable and Pasta Soup

Pancetta, potatoes, carrots, celery, pasta and tomatoes swim together in a tomato-enhanced chicken stock, sprinkled liberally with freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.  A warm bowl of comfort.   $7 / bowl

 

Apple and Pecan Winter Salad

Freshly cut apple slices, candied pecans, and blue cheese adorn baby lettuces, tossed with a homemade balsamic and walnut oil vinaigrette.   (Gluten free) $8      

 

 

Entrees 

Asparagus and Pancetta Carbonara

Pancetta, roasted Asparagus, Mushrooms and Sundried tomatoes are tossed with spaghetti and then finished the Italian way with a creamy carbonara sauce.  Sprinkled generously with Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.  $17

 

Fragrant Sauté of Jumbo Shrimp with Thai Coconut milk-infused Jasmine Rice

A dish with exceptionally layered Thai flavors:  coconut milk, lemongrass, basil, and mint form the rich sauce in which five lime juice marinated prawns are served atop coconut milk-infused nutty, new-crop Jasmine Rice, and sprinkled with chopped peanuts and green onions.  (Gluten free)  $21

 

Breast of Duck a l 'Orange Crepes with Raspberry Salsa

A breast of domestic duck is roasted to medium and served

medallion-style atop  a delicate homemade scallion crepe,

liberally drizzled with a homemade creamy Grand Marnier sauce  & dollops of fresh raspberry and chili salsa. $20

 

Chilean Sea Bass with Chorizo & Fennel Gratin

A generous six ounce fillet of succulent Chilean Sea Bass is sautéed in a chorizo sausage-infused oil and then oven roasted with a gratin of Fennel, Eggplant and Kalamata Olives.  

Accompanied with our Parmesan Mashed Potatoes.   (Gluten free)      $24

 

Rack of Spring Lamb with Dried Cherry and Port jus

A  half rack of New Zealand Spring Lamb, marinated in a wine and herb mixture, then roasted until medium rare.  Accompanied with a gratin of yams, fingerling  &

Peruvian potatoes and topped with a dried bing cherry and port wine reduction.

Crescendo Filet Mignon with Brandy and Shallot Reduction

Our signature Prime, aged, six ounce Beef Tenderloin Filet, seared in butter and oven finished to order (we recommend Medium rare).  Adorned with our sweet yet complex, made on the spot, flamed brandy and shallot Dijon reduction sauce.  Accompanied with sautéed haricot verts  and our parmesan mashed potatoes.  (Gluten free)    $32
