When you dine with us, you’ll see the difference that fine dining offers. We have the most exquisite food, and fine wines, all offered within our elegant atmosphere. While spending time in our restaurant, you’ll be met with the perfect venue to take your loved one out on that special night, or even host a group, party, or

small get together.

Our restaurant is located in Historic Downtown Albert Lea, a great travel area.

When dining with us, you’ll see people from all over Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota, but you’ll always get the custom approach and single service that you deserve and expect.

Appetizers

Crab Cakes with Mango  & Ginger Coulis

Two handmade cakes of delicate blue crab meat, red bell

peppers and red onions are sautéed in butter and topped

with a homemade and refreshing drizzle  of fresh mango,

ginger and lime juice.   $10

 

Sweet Potato Ravioli

Five handmade ravioli are filled with a homemade puree of sweet potatoes

and are then briefly sautéed in brown butter and accompanied with

toasted pine nuts and fresh sage.   $10 (appetizer portion)

Southwest Corn Chowder

A bowl of Autumn harvest!  Fresh sweet corn, red bell peppers, creamy potatoes, blended with smoked bacon and Montery Jack cheese in a cream based broth.    $8

 

Fall Poached Pear Salad

Seasonal pears are poached in Riesling wine, and are placed  a top mixed greens,

then drizzled with a Port Vinaigrette, and adorned with  Honey-glazed pecan pieces  

and crumbled Blue Cheese.  (Gluten free)  $8

 

Entrees 

Gnocchi with Roasted Pumpkin, Shallots and Bechamel Sauce

A delicious, seasonal blending of textures, flavors and colors.  Potato gnocchi pasta is combined with oven-roasted  pumpkin pieces, caramelized shallots, spinach and toasted walnuts, tossed in a homemade white cream sauce, sprinkled with grated parmesan cheese, dusted with fresh nutmeg, and sprinkled with crispy baked proscuitto.  $18

 

Gratin of Jumbo Prawns with Roma Tomatoes, Oregano & Feta Cheese

A rarebit with sautéed Roma Tomatoes, fresh Oregano, garlic and white wine is filled with jumbo prawns and generously sprinkled with crumbled Feta Cheese.  

After broiling to melt the cheese and blend the flavors, the dish is accompanied

with our creamy Parmesan Mashed Potatoes.   $21  (Gluten Free)

             

Pumpkin seed crusted Ahi Tuna with Fall Caponata

A block of sushi-grade Ahi Tuna is coated with toasted then ground pumpkin seeds and seared briefly to brown the outer flesh.  The inner meat is left vibrantly red, moist and tender.  Accompanied with Parmesan mashed potatoes and a Mediterranean–inspired relish of roasted Eggplant, Kalamata olives, roasted red bell peppers and capers.  $24  

 

Breast of Duck with Chili Raspberry & Blackberry Marsala Sauce

A plump and delicious breast of domestic duck is roasted with its crackling skin until medium and painted with a complex chili and mixed berry marsala sauce served atop dried fruit-infused cous cous.   $21

 

Honey-painted Pork Tenderloin with

  Gratin of Chopped Brussel Sprouts and Golden Raisins

Locally-raised Pork Tenderloin, marinated in white wine, are roasted and basted with cloverleaf honey, and served medallion-style atop a sauté of chopped brussel sprouts, prosciutto, golden raisins and lemon zest, then slathered with pan jus. Crescendo Filet Mignon with Brandy and Shallot Reduction

Our signature Prime, aged, six ounce Beef Tenderloin Filet, seared in butter and oven finished to order (we recommend Medium rare).  Adorned with our sweet yet complex, made on the spot, flamed brandy and shallot Dijon reduction sauce.  Accompanied with sautéed haricot verts  and our parmesan mashed potatoes.  (Gluten free)    $32
