When you dine with us, you’ll see the difference that fine dining offers. We have the most exquisite food, and fine wines, all offered within our elegant atmosphere. While spending time in our restaurant, you’ll be met with the perfect venue to take your loved one out on that special night, or even host a group, party, or

small get together.

Our restaurant is located in Historic Downtown Albert Lea, a great travel area.

When dining with us, you’ll see people from all over Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota, but you’ll always get the custom approach and single service that you deserve and expect.

Appetizers

Crab Cakes with Mango  & Ginger Coulis

Two handmade cakes of delicate blue crab meat, red bell

peppers and red onions are sautéed in butter and topped

with a homemade and refreshing drizzle  of fresh mango,

ginger and lime juice.   $10

 

Pancetta-stuffed Jumbo Prawns

A blending of rendered Pancetta ham, and fresh asparagus

fill jumbo prawns which are roasted and accompanied with a

homemade artichoke heart and caper aioli.   $12

 

Baby Beets and Herbed Goat Cheese              

Salad with Citrus Hazelnut Vinaigrette

Roasted Red Baby Beets are combined with tangy goat cheese,

candied walnuts and drizzled with a homemade orange vinaigrette,

tossed with fresh mesclun greens.   $8

 

Wild Mushroom and Brie Bisque

Wild Mushrooms are blended with a Brie cheese veloute,

enriched with cream and garnished with fresh mushrooms.  $8    

 

Entrees 

Roasted Salmon

with Rhubarb-Ginger Marmalade

A fillet of  fresh Atlantic Salmon is roasted to medium and served with our parmesan mashed potatoes then drizzled with a homemade marmalade composed of fresh Rhubarb and minced ginger.    $20   (Gluten free)

 

Chicken Veronique

A generous breast of organic, hormone-free Chicken is wrapped with a slice of flavorful Prosciutto, oven-roasted, then topped with a creamy white wine sauce with red grapes and the exotic flavor of fresh garden tarragon.  Accompanied with our parmesan mashed potatoes.  $18      (Gluten free)

 

Wild Mushroom Ravioli with

Mushroom and Wine Cream Sauce

Flavorful, wild Porcini &Portabella mushrooms, sautéed in

Marsala wine fill these ravioli which are tossed in a homemade, decadent  red wine, shallot  and mushroom cream sauce. Topped with grated Parmesan cheese and Italian Parsley.  A vegetarian delicacy!  $18

 

Spring Pea Risotto

The delicate flavors of Spring are showcased in this vegetarian entree.  Arborio rice is slowly stirred with shallots, onions, celery, and sweet peas.  Just before service shredded parmesan cheese is incorporated into the dish.  Garnished with sweet and tender baby pea tendrils.  (Gluten free)    $18      

 

Rack of Spring Lamb with Roasted Spring Vegetables

A  half rack of New Zealand Spring Lamb, marinated in a wine and herb mixture, then roasted until medium rare.  Accompanied with honey-glazed roasted spring

vegetables:  yams, fingerling  & Peruvian potatoes, fresh baby leeks, beets, and green top carrots.  (Gluten free)    $25

 

Crescendo Filet Mignon with Brandy and Shallot Reduction

Our signature Prime, aged, six ounce Beef Tenderloin Filet, seared in butter and oven finished to order (we recommend Medium rare).  Adorned with our sweet yet complex, made on the spot, flamed brandy and shallot Dijon reduction sauce.  Accompanied with sautéed asparagus and our parmesan mashed potatoes.  $32   (Gluten free)
